Liz chose to do her bridal session the day after her wedding so we asked half-jokingly if she wanted to jump in the ocean with her wedding dress. Without much hesitation she said “yes”! As you can see we had an incredible shoot on the beach; even John decided to get in the water with his tux. In the wedding photography industry this is known as “Trash the Dress” (TTD). Naturally, we were smiling the whole time because we weren’t expecting this when we came to Jacksonville Beach, FL to document their wedding. They were both awesome during the shoot!

We had an incredible weekend at Liz and John’s wedding in Jacksonville Beach, Florida! It was a beautiful outdoor wedding at the Casa Marina Hotel. Rain started pouring down during the ceremony, but a little water couldn’t take away from this wonderful occasion. In fact, we got lucky with a rainbow after the ceremony! On Saturday we did a ‘trash the dress’ photo shoot with Liz and John in the ocean the day after the wedding (see our next post). We were blessed with an awesome bride and groom, wonderful people, and unique weather. We also did video for Liz and John which will be available for viewing shortly.
