Cliffs at Glassy

March 7, 2011 – 17 comments

It’s hard to imagine a more perfect place to get married than a beautiful stone chapel on a cliff. We are referring to the Cliffs at Glassy in South Carolina. The chapel boasts gorgeous stone architecture with pointed archways and woodwork that would make Noah jealous (the Ark guy). Top this off with huge windows that allow brilliant natural light to pour in. Sounds glorious, huh? Of course what makes a ceremony venue complete is the charming people that fill the room with their emotional smiles, tears, and joy. As photographers we could spend hours finding aesthetic compositions in an empty building, but ultimately the best images are focused on the love of the bride and groom – the reason everyone is there to celebrate in the first place! It’s those real moments between friends, family, or even total strangers that make for timeless photography.

We posted some teaser photos from this South Carolina wedding that highlights Lauren and Warren’s entire day, but we felt this ceremony at Cliffs at Glassy deserved its own post. Tim Lolley, one of our favorite officiants, did a wonderful job officiating this wedding. He always has a presence that exudes happiness.

Lauren and Warren are an amazing couple and their photography reflects how in-love they are! We thought we’d leave you with a snippet of a review they left for us: “Our photos are gorgeous and really captured our whole day perfectly. As the bride, I barely even realized they were there! I would highly recommend working with them, and they are so versatile in what they can do.”

Enjoy the photography from Lauren and Warren’s big day!
