We’ve noticed a trend at our last 3 weddings. The weather has been insanely hot (at one wedding it was 102˚) but these couples all knew how to beat the heat. You’d think as photographers we’d encouraged this, but what’s funny is none of these post-wedding splashes were our idea (though we certainly welcomed it). We’re not afraid of those hot, summer weddings and being physically fit we say “Bring ’em on!”
Coincidentally all these weddings from last week were in Lake Lure, NC. The classic 80’s film Dirty Dancing was filmed there so it seems fitting that these lovebirds all ended up submerged in water at the end of the night.
