We’ve been anxious to share this elegant Biltmore Estate wedding. Meg and David are such sweet and gracious people and we just love how their joy overtakes these photos. They had an intimate ceremony in the Walled Garden followed by a reception at the Conservatory. And as Sinatra sings: “Love and marriage, they go together like a horse and carriage” – Meg arrived to the ceremony in style riding a horse and carriage.

BobbyMarks Designs did an amazing job with the rose and peony florals. Thanks also to Cody’s Wedding Creations, Shay Brown, Howard Hanger, and the wonderful catering staff at Biltmore!

Because it’s so sophisticated and cool (plus Meg looks beautiful in front of that Rolls Royce!), we are starting off with the last shot of the night…

We’ve spent a lot of time with Lindsi and Terry because we got to do their engagement photos and her bridal portraits. Now, we bring you their beautiful wedding in Asheville, NC at the Biltmore. It’s been a thrill getting to know them and taking tons of photos with them. Lindsi has such a pleasant and sweet personality, and Terry kept making us laugh on our photo shoots. Generally, the photographers are supposed to make the subjects smile, but in this case we were all smiles.

Everyone in the bridal party got ready at the Inn on Biltmore while E. Scott Thompson with Makeup at Grove Arcade did the lovely ladies makeup. The wedding ceremony took place on the Tennis Lawn, then back to the Inn for the reception. And of course, since they’ve spent a lot of time having their portrait taken by us, we spent some quality time on the wedding day doing creative portraits around the house. Thanks to the Bloom Room for the beautiful florals and Pat Lance with Spintastic Sounds (one of the coolest DJ’s around). There are such talented wedding vendors in Asheville and it’s always amazing to work alongside them.

We posted a sneak peak from Jess and Mike’s Asheville wedding at Biltmore Estate and now we present Part 2 of the photography from their big day! This wedding took place at the beautiful Inn on Biltmore with gorgeous mountain views (the pictures certainly prove that!). Mix in an awesome couple and guests who want to have a good time, and you have a recipe for why we love being wedding photographers. Jess and Mike got creative with the wedding and incorporated their interests in to the details – a Super Mario Brothers cake, boardgames for guests to play, a candy bar, and LEGO people as table placeholders. It was a a colorful occasion and joyous event for everyone there. We were thrilled Jess and Mike chose Asheville for their destination wedding and us to photograph it!

Julie and Chandler had a gorgeous summer wedding at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville. We already posted a few teaser photos but wanted to share more images from their beautiful wedding. Julie and her bridesmaids got ready at the Inn on Biltmore while Suraj Spa & Salon did their hair and Blush by Wendy worked her magic with the makeup. The couple had a ‘first look’ and saw each other in private before the ceremony. A lot of our couples have been doing the first look and it’s always a beautiful moment to photograph. The ceremony and reception were both at the Inn – Allegro Music serenaded guests during the ceremony and Bloom Room adorned both sites with classy floral arrangements. It was a pleasure working Asheville Event Co. again, who are wonderful wedding planners!
