Know what we love about Indian weddings? The colors of course! Rich golds, greens, fuchsias, tangerine combine beautifully to produce some of the most fantastic wedding eye candy. There is so much going on visually at an Indian wedding. Aside from the colors, Indian weddings are elaborate affairs that not only join together two people, but also two families.

Over the weekend we traveled to New York and New Jersey to shoot Anita & Apurva’s wedding. It was an Indian wedding and we had an incredible time capturing the weekend. We feel honored to have been invited so far away to document such a beautiful occasion filled with so much emotion and energy.

We can’t wait to share the photos from their wedding day! Here are a few shots from a party held before the wedding. Ruchi Shah’s gorgeous Mehendi (Henna) designs are featured in a few of these shots. Her work and detail is exquisite!

We are excited to share Swapna & Ravi’s highlight video with you. It was a beautiful Indian Wedding in Raleigh, North Carolina that we had the privilege of capturing. The film montage features 3 songs that are used in different Bollywood films. Their wedding reception was held at the spacious Bay 7 in downtown Durham.

It was an honor and a privilege to be photographers at Swapna and Ravi’s wedding in Raleigh, North Carolina. It was a gorgeous Indian ceremony that started at 5:30 a.m. and went until midnight. We had an amazing day spending time with warmhearted people, beautiful surroundings, elaborate decorations, and delicious food!
