We’ve spent a lot of time with Lindsi and Terry because we got to do their engagement photos and her bridal portraits. Now, we bring you their beautiful wedding in Asheville, NC at the Biltmore. It’s been a thrill getting to know them and taking tons of photos with them. Lindsi has such a pleasant and sweet personality, and Terry kept making us laugh on our photo shoots. Generally, the photographers are supposed to make the subjects smile, but in this case we were all smiles.

Everyone in the bridal party got ready at the Inn on Biltmore while E. Scott Thompson with Makeup at Grove Arcade did the lovely ladies makeup. The wedding ceremony took place on the Tennis Lawn, then back to the Inn for the reception. And of course, since they’ve spent a lot of time having their portrait taken by us, we spent some quality time on the wedding day doing creative portraits around the house. Thanks to the Bloom Room for the beautiful florals and Pat Lance with Spintastic Sounds (one of the coolest DJ’s around). There are such talented wedding vendors in Asheville and it’s always amazing to work alongside them.

Words cannot describe how much we adore this wedding… and I guess that’s why we are photographers! We get by on the “a photo is worth a thousand words” adage. Falon & Clay got married at Biltmore Estate’s Deerpark venue in October. This sweet couple may look familiar because we posted a few teaser photos from their wedding back in the fall. And you may remember Falon’s gorgeous bridal session.

The bridal party got ready at the Inn on Biltmore, which is also where the couple’s first look was. From there we went to the house for portraits and then the Deerpark for the ceremony and reception. The scheduling and timing was as smooth as can be for us and everyone involved, thanks to the wonderful Tara Jordan with Weddings with Tara. An excellent planner like Tara knows how to keep stress at bay during a wedding, and this also benefits the photography!

With the recent snow and wintery weather in western North Carolina, we want to warm up the blog with a verdant, summer wedding. Abby and Jacob’s North Carolina wedding was at Lake Eden Events in August. This gorgeous venue is east of Asheville in the town of Black Mountain. Shortly after their wedding we posted a sneak peek, which you can check out here. We are so fortunate to get the best clients ever, and this couple is no exception. They were such a joy to be around and their love for each other shines brilliantly in the photos – especially in those candid shots that we are always devoted to capturing at every wedding.
