My husband and I were married in Asheville in September of 2009 and were SO excited after meeting with Derek and Galen of Two Ring Studios. I had been warned by other brides not to cut corners with our choice of photographer and to make sure we found someone who we felt understood our personality and style preferences. We knew after the first meeting that Two Ring Studios were the photographers that we wanted not only for our wedding, but for our engagement photos, my bridal portraits and our rehearsal dinner!! And they exceeded our expectations on all levels! We have had such a hard time picking the photos to put in our wedding album becasue we have literally THOUSANDS of amazing shots from every stage of our engagment and wedding – and the quality of the images is the best I’ve ever seen. These guys view photography not as their job, but as an art and a passion. The level of artistry in every shot is stunning and I am so pleased with the memories that we have of our wedding thanks to them. And Derek and Galen were somehow able to capture every major moment of our wedding day without anyone even noticing them! I honestly do not recall anyone in my face with a camera at any point during the night, yet they were there until the very end of the night to capture every second! If you are getting married in the Asheville area, or anywhere (they LOVE to travel!!), I highly recommend considering Two Ring Studios as your wedding photographer. As many brides out there would agree, the photography portion of our wedding ranked very very high on our priorities. Choosing who we would trust to capture such an important day was really overwhelming at first but the very first time we saw the work that Two Ring Studios does we were hooked. The best part about their work, I think, is that every picture they take has its own personality. The styles of the photographs varied with the couples they were working with and this gave me the confidence that they would capture “us” not just capture another wedding on their schedule. Although I was pretty confident in them from the beginning they completely exceeded our expectations in every way possible! Our photographs take us right back to each moment and for that we are just forever grateful to them. Two Ring Studios are incredible artists who gave life to some of the greatest memories of mine and my husband’s lives and I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone for their own wedding day and beyond. Aside from the AMAZING pictures they took, I have to also say that these two men have huge hearts and they really really cared about making our images everything we wanted. Being a somewhat sensitive bride (thats all of us right?!) this is probably what stood out the most to me… They took our day very seriously to the point that at the end of my wedding night I had to give them big hugs with tears in my eyes. I am so grateful to have had them there to carefully document our wedding day and I know that all of their other clients (past, present and future!) would say the same.
